- Natural Proteins and Fats
- Contains No Fish Meal
- Balanced, Daily Diet in Gel Form
Repashy Bottom Scratcher is a great choice for bottom-feeders who would naturally feed on invertebrates. This food is designed to be a daily diet produced with only natural proteins and fats sourced from invertebrates. It contains no fish meal. Once prepared, it has a rubbery consistency so that plecos have ample time to rasp on it and gain all the nutritional value this food has to offer.
Bring water to a boil on stove, in microwave or kettle. Pour boiling water into a bowl and immediately stir in powder (1 part powder to 2-3 parts water). Let cool or immediately pour into mold. Gel will set at room temperature. Cut into pieces or make into a slow release Jerky. Once made, gel should be treated as fresh food and can be sealed and stored in refrigerator for up to two weeks, or freezer for up to six months.

Repashy Bottom Scratcher
I have a hillstream loch and I bought this food for him but doesn’t seem to crazy about it. I’m not sure if he is just picky but he might eat some here and there but not right away. But very easy to make an I think this is some awesome stuff. My white mountain minnows love it and neons as well.
Bottom Scratcher is another win for my plecos and CAEs! They dance when they know it’s coming. Easy, good quality food. I use other ‘flavors’ for other fish groups. Anything that stinky they gotta love!, lol!
Since Cory made a video on how to do this, the whole process went a lot smoother. I bought it mainly as a supplement for my otocinclus group but everybody seems to like it. Only advice is that it sets pretty quickly so if you want to dip something in it to set, you need to have it nearby otherwise it doesn’t stick well. After about 20mins it sets like jell-o and you can cut it up in small cubes and put it in the freezer. Amazing how much beter one sleeps knowing that your otos have full bellies. :-)
My plecos love it and really helps them put some weight on newly bought bristle nose plecos
