  • Balanced Diet in Gel Form
  • High in Fiber and Plant Proteins
  • Ideal for Feeding Plecos Over Extended Time

Repashy Morning Wood is perfect for getting more wood into your wood-eating fish's diet. This gel food is created using wood cellulose and extra gelling ingredients to ensure the prepared product is tough and rubbery for plecos and other wood-eating catfish to rasp on. This high fiber meal is great for snails and other bottom dwellers as well.

To prepare one cup of product, add ¼ cup of powder into ¾ cup of cold water and stir until blended. Microwave until it starts to boil (typically 2-3 minutes), remove and stir. Alternatively, bring water to a boil on stove, remove from heat, and stir in powder. Immediately pour into a storage container or mold, and let sit at room temp until firm. The finished gel can be cut into cubes, shredded, or used as a whole slab. Whatever is not used immediately should be treated as fresh food. It can be stored sealed in refrigerator for up to two weeks, and in freezer for up to six months. To adjust firmness of gel, use more or less water as desired.

Morning Wood

I mix Morning Wood, bottom scratcher with a pinch of Community Plus for my baby plecos and corydoras species love it...! In my opinion, it's the absolute best fish food ever made...! Thanks for offering it for sale...! Spoon, I may not need it though, without Brine shrimp eggs, it looks like I'm not gonna be getting too many more spawns outta them...! Rapashy is great, though...!!!

Pleco and everybody else loves it!

Incredible product. I feared that my pleco would not find it when I dropped it in the tank during feedings, but it is so good that even the shyest of the plecos will come out! Love it, I am now interested in trying other types of repashys.

A Bristlenose Pleco Breeder Must Have!

I breed L144 long-finned variety lemon bristle nose plecos at home for my local fish store and I feed this food to them every other night. I tried the other repashy pleco formulas and this one seems to be their favorite, since they swarm it every time I put it in the tank. The fiber in it also seems to allow them to eat more without having to stop and rasp on the wood in the tank instead. Although the food will start to disintegrate if left in the water for too long, the plecos generally suck it up faster than it can dissolve. Also, you can make as little or as much as you want at a time, leaving you able to make it fresh every day, or make it in bulk to refrigerate or freeze for later. Also, the jello like quality of the product can allow you to put the food in molds, I use ice cube trays to make a convenient cube I can then slice into small pieces, or even spread on decor, such as caves, rocks, and wood to allow a more natural rasping consumption. I know there may be cheaper ways to feed bristlenose plecos protein, but this is probably the cleanest and easiest way to encourage their growth and bulk them up quickly for sale.

Repashy Morning Wood!

Very easy to make. Some find the smell off-putting. I didn't mind it at all. My Common. Bristle nose, Rubber-Lip and my Royal all loved it as soon as I dropped it in their tanks. Even some Fry eagerly ate off the squares. The right pie plate is the entire bottle made up at once, cut into small pieces then frozen.

Clown plecos love it!

Only reason for 4 stars. I followed the directions and it came out like chunky mashed potatoes. Made a mess in the tank. Clown plecos still go crazy for it!

What a great product!

So much to love about this product! My plecos eat it up, and you can't beat the convenience of being able to freeze large batches to have on hand. Plus, a little goes a LONG way! I feed every other day and the first batch I made lasted more than two months, and barely made a dent in the bottle. I will definitely be purchasing other varieties in the future!

Good Stuff For The Fishies

Fish seem to love this stuff. I like that this particular one includes wood for the plecos because I do not have any driftwood for them to rasp on. I make up a small batch, cut it in squares, and I freeze the leftovers in a baggy or container to grab on another day.

Have bottom feeders? But it!

I've been ordering Repashi for over a year now and all my plecos, Cory's and yep...even my snails really seem to love it! Easy to make, although it does smell less than desirable. Seems very beneficial for the fish, so what's a little funky smell for your fishy friends?.100% buy this product!

Seems to be hit

I put it in a few nights a week never there in the morning. My fish seem to love most of the repashy foods and the Coop is always a pleasure doing business with.

Morning wood

Love it. I keep it primarily for our Bushynose Plecos but we find the other fish like it also. Will also mix in with other Repashi, like community blend, to firm them up just a bit.

My plecos fight over this stuff

sometimes I worry about my fish getting hurt. The plecos fight over it. I had to give twice as much and split it up around the tank so they wouldn't fight over it! Even some of my other fish can't resist nibbling on it. What is in this stuff????
