  • Colorful, Patterned Leaves
  • Easy to Care For
  • Grows Lily Pads

Tiger Lotus is just a beautiful plant and not difficult to grow. Given just medium light and plenty of nutrients, this plant will thrive. What makes Tiger lotus plants so popular is its reddish-green to deep red leaves with darker spots that are often purplish in color.

As it grows, tiger lotus plants will display its large leaves below the surface of the water while simultaneously sending lily pads up to reach the surface. It does well as a midground to background plant, but because it is so impactful, it can make a great stand alone plant as well.

Note: The leaves are fragile and may be damaged in transit, but there is no need for concern because the bulb will sprout new leaves within a couple of weeks.

Lotus bulb

I was worried about ordering plants to ship with the heat. But both arrived healthy. I was so impressed I purchased some more plants. My only disappointment is receiving this 5% offer with review day after I already placed a large order.

Biggest tiger lily I ever had!

I love this plant. I have lost a cpl of them but mostly I plop it in the tank and it stays beautiful forever! I have had them from COOP that were just the bulb and they grew nicely. This is the first time I had gotten one this large before. One lily pad fell off in shipping but there are 3 that are pretty big. I have it in my 125 right now temporarily and it’s more than halfway to the top! My other ones are in my nano tanks 5 gallons so I’m pretty pleased with the size and quality. Coop never lets me down

Tiger Lotus

They both arrived in good condition and both are growing nicely in tanks. This seems to be the only red plant I can grow well.

Tiger Lotus

It came with several leaves. All in good shape and it’s growing very nicely. If my tank could hold them I’d buy more.
