Water sprite is an easy-to-grow, aquatic fern with dense foliage that provides excellent shelter for small fish and fry. It can be grown traditionally planted into substrate or used as a floating plant. Water sprite grows fairly quickly when given plenty of nutrients under low to medium lighting. It is often confused with water wisteria because of their complex leaf texture and bright green color. However, water sprite has a more thin, lace-like leaf structure, whereas the leaves of water wisteria are a little more broad and sturdy.
Excellent Cover for Small Fish & Shrimp

Plant Transition
Most aquatic plants are grown out of water at the farms. At our warehouse, we start the plant's transition so they can begin growing underwater leaves for you. Leaves grown out of water often have rounded lobes or very small needles, whereas leaves grown under water have a dense, lace-like structure. This is a normal process, and it's your choice cut off the fading, older leaves or leave them.
We Include Heat Packs and Liners Free of Charge
We have a custom-developed algorithm to include heat packs and insulating plant liners as needed, based on the weather forecast from our warehouse to your shipping address. This helps keep plants at stable temperatures, both in hot and cold weather. Other vendors typically charge you at checkout for a heat pack. We include them when needed free of charge because it's our job to deliver our plants to your door healthy.

Need to buy another one
The water sprite I got was just beautiful. Green and full. But all of the stems had been bent and would only stand up when in water. I went ahead and planted in hopes it would put out new growth and I could cut off the bad stems and try starting new plants. Well some jerk in the tank chewed off all the stems but I could see what looked like new growth coming up from the roots so I had hope. The next day even the roots were gone. This is NOT an aquarium co-op problem. It is an evil something in my tank problem. I vote ramshorn snails as they have killed other plants before on me. But I loved the look of this plant so much I plan on getting another one, maybe 2 and try again. I just can't get over how beautiful the plant was when I got it. Aquarium co-op plants are the best!!!
