Normally flake foods are considered a "budget" food. Xtreme's Krill Flake is the opposite. It is made with quality ingredients such as krill as the first main ingredient. Given that this is a flake food, you can easily crumble it to the right size for the fish you are feeding. Not only is this food a great protein source for your fish, but it will naturally enhance their color as well - whether it's for your prized guppy fry or your cichlids that you want to get those colors to pop a bit more. I've personally been using this flake food with my livebearers and they love it. Watch my video review here.

The fish love it.

I'm really happy with the product. Currently I have a Oscar, Electric Blue Acara, Tourqouis Severum, Convict Cichlid, Black Moor Goldfish and a Ryuken goldfish ( not all in the same tank) and they all seem to love it. I really like how it doesn't dirty up the tanks. I will be buying this product again. You guys are awesome by the way!

Jar of Crumbs

I usually do write reviews or write with a complaint in mind. But, every time I feed my fish The Krill Flakes I have to sort through the small pieces to find some decent size ones. The Spirulina Flakes are large enough that if I want to I can break them up a little. My fish love this stuff but as for me not so much. A lot of money to pay for crumbs.

Healthy Fish

At first the fish wouldn't really take it. But that's because they were so used to a low quality flake. Don't give up! Eventually they will take it until they soon can't get enough of it. I can see the colors in my fish improving in and their health as they are getting better nutrition.

My Molly's love this food, they go crazy for it. Very fast shipment, it only took 3 day for the food to arrive in Puerto Rico. I'm so excited 😆 because it's my very first time I order these food for my Molly's. I will be ordering more in the future.😁 Definitely will recommend to my fish keeping friends.

Fat bellies, grrreeat! color & many babies/ eggs...! The internet told me those are all good signs...! Thanks for another SUPER DUPER product...!

All fish love it

Must admit these flakes smell kinda good. All my fish go crazy for it, from endlers up to my 12" Oscar who I caught snacking on a larger flakes that I put to sink for my pleco. Also great for crushing up for fry. As far as color I can't say if it has improved since I feed a variety of foods. However, I do see for endler and guppy fry, they show color sooner oppose to when I was just using first bites and baby brine. Can't get it locally so I stock up on this. I keep them frozen until use or in the fish room, don't see a quality issue from storing either way. I do go through a container quickly since I have 12 tanks and doing some breeding.

Decent food, but practically all powder

My fish like this food and I wish I could use it in my tanks, but its 75 powder by the time it gets to me and all that does is foul my water because it's too small. Might be good for nano fish, but way too small for angels, gouramis or other standard size tank fish.
Ordered a second one because the first was all dust and the second one has the same problem. Now I have 30 dollars worth of food I can't use.
Like I said, it's a good quality food, but a waste if you aren't feeding nano fish nano fish. -

Quality at a great price

My fish absolutely love this food. It’s nice cuz so many sizes of fish can eat it and they all love it. I’ll be using this as long as I have fish.

Almost perfect

Took the fish about a week to get used to it, now it's number one in rotation. I'm a tetra lover and my new rarest variety have colored up beautifully since introducing this food. It will color the water(very slightly) if left in the tank but I believe it's because of the high krill content.

Xtreme Krill Flakes & Xtreme 1.5mm Semi Floating Pellets

Recently changed over to a blend of Xtreme Krill Flakes and the Xtreme 1.5 mm Semi Floating Pellets from a common big name "tropical" flake food. Couldn't have had better results! My fish (Angelfish pair, BN Pleco pair, Opaline Gourami trio, Cardinal Tetra school, Black Skirt Tetras, Zebra Danios, Otocinclus school, and Corys) all love the food! Not even exaggerating, I have an automatic feeder that I have used for about a year now so they know when they're going to get fed and they all anticipate where/when it's coming from, as you would expect, but since I've started feeding Xtreme food the whole community will come up and seem to be more excited than they ever were before! The only thing they like more are brine shrimp and blood worms. Their colors are more vibrant, even when they are not displaying for breeding/territory. All are very healthy, minimal jostling and LOTS of breeding. But not many of the eggs & fry make it, as you can imagine.

Awesome

I feed this in my mornings and I love the results in my fish. They're more active and excited for feedings and it accommodates all my fish from fry to adults. Personally replaced my hikari micro fancy guppy and micro pellet with this and I love it, especially when combined with vibes bites

My fish love them!

First time ordering xtreme krill flakes. I feed my fish a varied diet, and the first time I used crow flakes my fish love them. It seems like they like them as much as the blood worms! Xtreme krill flakes we’re very fresh and sent to me in a timely manner and I appreciate that, thanks aquarium co-op!

Fish hit it fast

Look no further if you wanna send your fission to a feeding frenzy. It’s great because I can crush it up for fry as well. It’s so dry and brittle that you can control the flake size for any fish you have. It’s sinks at a good rate to. I’ve noticed color enhancement in some of my fish I had. I’ve been using it for about 4 months now. Sometimes it never gets to touch the bottom of the tank.

Xtreme krill flake

My fish love the Xtreme krill flake. It helps my fish show there color very brightly.
When it comes it has huge flakes so their is not a bunch of really small flake that doesn't get eaten. To cloud up the water One day I feed Xtreme krill and one day Xtreme sprilulina flake. Plus I have never had a water cloud problem from over feeding a little bit.

Disappointed

Every video I see of people using this food it looks like large flakes. I have large tangs and was excited to feed them large flakes. Got the 3.5 oz container and it’s almost all tiny crushed up flakes that would be perfect for neon tetras or something tiny. My fish barely acknowledge flakes this tiny. It all went around the tank and right into the filter... the bottom half of the container is literally just dust. But hey! The shipping was extremely fast! I guess I have food for my single beta for the next 10 years 🤣

Feeding Frenzy

My fish go absolutely nuts for this stuff. They swim around so fast eating it I can’t even get a clean picture. I have never seen them go after a food like this. Will definitely be repurchasing once I’m out.
