The Fluval Canister Intake Adapter fits the Fluval 06 and 07 series canister filters (also fits the 06 series filters). While we recommend using the large on all of the canisters, the medium can be used on the 107 and 207 series. While the medium will fit the 307 and 407, we recommend the large to accommodate larger fish waste loads. This intake combined with our pre filter sponges adds filtering capacity with both biological and mechanical filtration. While also providing protection for long-finned fish, baby fish, and shrimp. Our intake doesn't use the checkball which causes a clogging point in the original fluval intakes.

Works great. It does what it's supposed to do. Paired with the aquarium co op pre-gikter, it fits perfectly.
This is a must have upgrade to the Fluval intake strainer. It completely solves the issue where the ball inside the intake strainer collects debris and reduces flow. The medium fits my 107 and 207 perfectly. The offset angle allows my intake to stay suctioned to the back of my aquariums without compressing my pre-filter sponge. I intend to order the large to use on my deeper tank with the large pre-filter sponge.
I failed to consider the depth of my substrate and ordered the large. I had to shorten my intake tube to make it fit. I also had a hard time getting the water flowing after I put it on. The siphon wouldn't start until I put a pre-filter sponge on.

We process and ship out 98%+ of our shipments next business day.
Live plants will ship using an appropriate service and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or weather delays. To avoid delays in the shipping network we recommend ordering live plants on Saturdays and Sundays for a Monday ship out.
Dry goods such as fish food, medication, filtration products, etc. can be ordered any day and will ship the next business day with an appropriate service. Typical shipping times are 1 to 7 business day transit time, depending on delivery location.

Alaska and Hawaii have a $17.99 surcharge. We do not ship to Puerto Rico currently.
