Increase Circulation in Your Aquarium

The Easy Flow Sponge Filter creates a directional current in your aquarium. This is good for delivering nutrients to plants and sweeping debris back to the filter. It also benefits fish by giving them something to swim against.

Adjustable Height for Different Tank Sizes

The Easy Flow curved uplift tube has an adjustable height, allowing you to use it for both small and big tanks. Use our sizing chart to find the perfect sponge filter for your aquarium. Ideally, the tube opening should sit 1/3 out of the water and 2/3 in the water.

No Air Stone Needed

Our air collar replaces the need for an air stone. Uniform bubbles with the airline tubing on the outside delivers better even flow, which increases the flow rate and reduces noise. No more glug, glug, glug sound. Use a small pipe brush or toothbrush to clean the collar during monthly maintenance.

Extra Heavy Base

Our extra heavy weighted base helps the sponge filter sinks right away. Give the sponge a squeeze when you put it in the water to remove any extra air. The heavy base also helps it stay in place when fish might try and move it.

Cleaning Is Easy

We recommend cleaning your sponge filter once a month. Removing the debris from the sponge ensures it won't clog up unexpectedly. While our sponge filters can often go many months between service, it's a best practice to service monthly. Also, clean the air collar with a small pipe brush or toothbrush to remove any debris buildup.

Bonus Tip: Pour the brown water on your houseplants to make them very happy.

Received product quickly. Installed in my 55 gallon, it's awesome, highly recommend!

Great sponge filter that stays in place, has good bubble production, and good water flow. I tried it with the Aquarium Co-op air stone, but I liked the built-in air bubble production more.

I have a 15 gallon tank that has a HOB filter which works okay but I wanted to have a sponge filter for back up and extra biological filtration. I really like Aquarium Co-ops filter. It looks nice with my plants and the curved tube on the top keeps a nice circulation going which is so much better than stagnant. I have found it easy to clean. Absolutely no complaints.

Good price delivered quickly. I love this filter it is quite and works great. I will never go back to a hang on back filer again.

Just what I wanted

I got the small for a 20 long, my only complaint is the tubing was to tall to use all of it, and it was a little confusing finding which pieces matched to get a proper flow out of it

We process and ship out 98%+ of our shipments next business day.

Live plants will ship using an appropriate service and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or weather delays. To avoid delays in the shipping network we recommend ordering live plants on Saturdays and Sundays for a Monday ship out.

Dry goods such as fish food, medication, filtration products, etc. can be ordered any day and will ship the next business day with an appropriate service. Typical shipping times are 1 to 7 business day transit time, depending on delivery location.

Alaska and Hawaii have a $17.99 surcharge. We do not ship to Puerto Rico currently.
