Clear Water

I got an Aquarium Co-op sponge filter to replace an HOB on a goldfish tank because there was so much waste that it was destroying the filter. The sponge filter could not keep up with the waste and the water turned very cloudy. I put this on top of the filter and oh man, the water is clearer than I have ever seen it. Crystal clear. The power head/sponge filter combo is amazingly powerful. A huge bonus is that I had to clean the HOB every three days because of so much waste, but with this, somehow I can go much longer without worrying about it.

Love this thing!

Such an awesome, versatile product from the awesome peeps at aquarium co-op. It works great for filtration when added to a sponge filter and helps to create flow in the tank as well.

Great power head!

I currently use this power head and a Co-op intake sponge to do water changes on my tanks, it seriously cuts down on the time it takes to clean my seven tanks. I also use another one on a sponge filter to add some extra flow in a 75. I highly recommend this to any one looking to purchase it.

Aquarium Co-Op Powerhead

I purchased the powerhead for my 20 gallon long planted tank mainly to eliminate dead spots and keep a nice flow. I attached it too a medium co op spongefilter and it really works well. I have been running it about a month now, and at first for my 20 gallon long it was a bit strong, but my fish seemed to absolutely love it, spending most of their time swimming in the current. After about a month of running its slowed its flow down (due to the sponge collecting debris) to what i would consider perfect for my aquarium. I am very pleased with it so far
