The Aquarium Co-Op Power Head is perfect for adding circulation to your aquarium — beneficial for minimizing dead zones, ensuring particles reach the filter, and moving food and fertilizer to all parts of the tank. No need to rearrange your entire system to find a plug for it, since the included extra long power cord measures 11.8 feet to reach any outlet. Increases Water Circulation

A powerhead is simply a submersible water pump that sucks in water from the input and sprays out a powerful stream of water from the output. This device can be used to speed up water changes, create your own DIY filtration, and of course boost water circulation in your aquarium.

Power Head Placement

Ideally, place your power head in a location that targets stagnant areas while staying relatively out of sight. We like placing our power heads near the top of the aquarium so that they prevent oil slicks and agitate the water surface.

Great powerhead!

Shipping Policy

We process and ship out 98%+ of our shipments next business day. 

Live plants will ship using an appropriate service and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or weather delays. To avoid delays in the shipping network we recommend ordering live plants on Saturdays and Sundays for a Monday ship out.

Dry goods such as fish food, medication, filtration products, etc. can be ordered any day and will ship the next business day with an appropriate service. Typical shipping times are 1 to 7 business day transit time, depending on delivery location. 

Faster shipping options available at checkout for an additional charge.

Alaska and Hawaii have a $17.99 surcharge. We do not ship to Puerto Rico currently.
