I bought both the PH-8 and PH-35 recently. The PH-8 was mounted to a sponge filter in a 55 gallon mainly to increase the flow in the tank, which it did VERY well. Any larger pump and I'd be concerned about too much flow. It's only been a week so can't comment yet on the longevity of the pump. I got the PH-35 for an outdoor project I'm planning for the spring. I wanted a reasonably priced pump that could move water over 4 feet up, will see how this performs once the ice has thawed...So far out of the box, it moves a LOT of water and is pretty beefy.
The suction cups aren't the best but it does its intended purpose in my planted tank.
This is such a great product and I loved how it was shipped all together with my other orders.
This product is great. Way better than expected. Thank you cory and everyone at aquarium co op.
