Easy. Effective. Recomended.
Every plant requires iron to produce chlorophyll much like humans need iron for oxygen production in the blood.
All my plants in the aquarium are turning a darker, fuller green (and red) and even my lucky bamboo is turning beautifully dark which was yellow all the way down to the roots.
Great product easy to use and works very well what else is there to say, except I would recommend it to anyone.
I have been using the Co-op Easy Green for over a year, very pleased.I had some Red Lotus and Bolbitis in my 20 long that just looked like it needed a boost. I purchased some Easy Iron, within week saw a difference in color and thickness of leaves. Everything in tank, Wisteria, Java Fern , Java Moss, Bolbitis, Red Lotus, Bacopa doing fantastic, the fish are loving the cover, their color even came out more !
I have been using easy green and easy iron for two months. I have noticed a significant improvment on my plants. My red plants look stunning with easy iron. I will continue to use these products for sure.
I love the fact that there is NO measuring with this product. So simple one pump per 10 gallons.
With a very tall tank (24 inches 20 after substrate) I needed to dose Easy Iron to bring out the color more in my red and bronze plants. After just one week and 2 doses for the week I can already see the plants responding to the Iron in the water.
For years I often wondered why I could not grow anything but diatom algae in my African cichlid tank.Set up a planted tank about 2 months ago.Was dosing with easy green every week.Plants thriving...a few plants turning brown.Lets try some easy iron! Algae bloom! Going to add some easy iron to cichlid tank and see what happens.
LOve the products, easy dosing and so far is doing amazing for my plants and has not harmed my fish what so ever, thank you Cory for your great products, I watch the channel and I shop in your store frequently now that I am back in the hobby!!!
I bought the Easy Iron hoping it would spur plant growth and moreover vitality in my 10 and 15 gallon fish tanks. The product was exactly what my plants were lacking. The bottle of Easy Iron comes shipped in a secure plastic baggie and comes with a pump dispenser for ease of use. Cory has built himself a real brand name with Aquarium Co-op as a result of his first rate customer service and affordable products.
I had some Vals that were turning yellow/melting due to shipping, added some Easy Iron the next day they showed signs of improvement! This stuff works!
Fantastic results and very easy to use. Comes with a pump dispenser. 1 pump per 10 gal.
I just ordered my first bottle of Easy Iron last week, and gave my first dose Sunday. Obviously, I haven't had time to see any effect on my plants, so, aside from commenting on how fast my package arrived (very fast indeed), how can I review it? Actually, it's easy,
First, some background. I live in a city whose tap water comes from wells drilled into an underground river. It is very hard, 325 ppm. Hard water and soluble iron do not mix. the iron reacts with the hydroxide ion in the water to form insoluble iron hydroxide. (In other words, it turns into rust. Rust is great for staining bathroom porcelain, but plants can't absorb it.) So, in order to grow plants, I have to dose with chelated iron. Up till now I have been using Flourish and Flourish Iron. These work well, and my plants grow well, but there is a problem.
By my lease, I cannot have any aquarium larger than 20 gallons, so, at the current time I have two 10 gallon and one 5.5 gallon tanks. Flourish products are formulated for large planted tanks. The dosage of Flourish for a 10 gal. tank is .833ml. The dose of Flourish Iron is 1.00 ml. Have you ever tried to measure out .833 milliliters of anything? It can be done, but it ain't easy. What you do is go online and buy some 1ml syringes. These have a scale along the side divided into .01ml increments.
so, when I heard Cody say that all you had to do was pump one squirt of Easy Green in ten gallons, I said, "that's for me." So I bought a bottle and tried it. My plants love it, so when he brought out Easy Iron, I bought a bottle of that too. With the pump , it's so much easier to dose my plants. With every water change in my 10 gal. tanks, I just reach over, grab the bottle, and give them a squirt. It's a little trickier with the 5.5 gal. tank. I have a 200ml measuring cup. I fill it with reverse osmosis/deionized water, pump in a squirt, pour 100ml into a clean fish food jar to use later, and put the rest into my tank.
