Iron is a very important micronutrient within the planted aquarium. This means plants need it to thrive, but in lesser amounts than macronutrients. It works for me
The Aquarium-CoOp Easy Iron is helping my tank full of Anubias plants overcome some nutrient deficiencies. Combined with Easy Potassium, the new leaves are coming in great and not developing holes. Even though my new crypts get most of their nutrients from Aquarium Co-Op root tabs, I am convinced the Easy Iron is also helping the crypts convert to their underwater state and display more reddish color in their new leaves.
Turns my red plants a deep red.
