This Polishing Filter works like a charm. I cut a 1.5" x 5" strip that I put at the top front of my AquaClear HOB and within hours my water is crystal clear. Perfect for after cleaning or any time debris is disturbed.
We have a very red substrate that even with rinsing still left is a red debris all over our tank/plants. Kicked a bunch of it up to help filter it out once this pad was installed and it clearly helped. Pad was saturated in the red substrate material. Now the only blur I notice in our tank is the algae on the glass. Thanks for the product!

In addition to a looser weave and sponge filters, the polishing filtration is doing a great job capturing tiny pieces from reentering the water.
Water Polishing Filter Pad
It keeps my water crystal clear! I have tried other brands and they don't do as well as this product. I use this in combination with the coarse filter pre-filter sponge and the coarse filter pad. This polishing pad is the last stage in my filtration whether it's in a HOB or a canister filter. This is a must have!
