This nano hang-on-back filter is excellent for aquariums under 10 gallons. It moves 52 gallons per hour and has an adjustable flow knob for fish who need lower flow such as bettas. It comes fully equipped with media and an intake sponge. However, upgrading to our mini pre filter sponge is ideal as it offers greater coverage of the intake tube with less clogging from debris. Hot rod this filter by adding coarse sponge to the media portion rather than the provided cartridges.

This nano hang on back filter is a work horse. This is the 3rd one I've purchased. Every 3 weeks to a month I take them apart and clean them ..... very easy to do ..... they just keeps on working. Make sure you clean it and it won't let you down. Thank you Aquarium Coop for having this item in stock.

This little filter is perfect for my UNS 45S tank. It’s been working hard and removing tannins etc from my new setup.
So I got this filter for my 10-gallon betta tank. I wanted something to complement my sponge filter as the water was kind of murky, but I did not want to add too much flow to his tank. This was a great addition. I have a rimmed tank, so it did not fit as perfectly as it probably would have had I had a rimless tank, but it fits well enough to work. His tank is nice and clear. I’m happy with it.

This thing makes no noise if the lid is off. I love that it came with a pre filter. I have been using this between some nano tanks with a bunch of filter floss to help clear up my water. I am not using it as a primary filter although it is tempting
I have a 6 gallon cube that this worked perfect on. Super quiet. Looks great and customizable. I hot rodded it by using the Co-op course filter pad.
I love this filter (I have a couple) and how easy it is to customize. Cleaning is easy with a little brush for the intake tubes. I got rid of the cartridges and replaced with a block of coarse sponge as well as well as an additional foam pad. As long as it's full of water, it's a quiet as they come.
This little filter works great in my 6g planted betta cube. I love that I can take it almost completely apart to clean it with a little bottle brush. I replaced the cartridge with coarse sponges and a handful of bio rings. Very quiet if the water level is topped off. Mr. Nakatomi is happy.
