Planting tweezers often make planting small stems and other plants easier than using your hands. They allow you to get plants deeper into the substrate so plants can absorb nutrients and form a strong root structure. These particular tweezers are curved at the end to get plants into even the smallest spaces and for more control while planting at an angle. This is especially useful if you have a deep tank.

We chose these 10.5-inch stainless tweezers because of the nice angle at the end. This allows you to firmly grab stem plants, cryptocorynes, and swords and plant them as deeply as needed into the substrate. Why use your fingers to create a giant crater when you can use these thin, precision tips to create a hole just small enough for the plant without disturbing the surrounding area?

If your root-feeding plants are turning yellow, make sure to add some Easy Root Tabs. Use these tweezers to insert them directly under and around the plant to make sure they get plenty of nutrients right where they need it.

Shipping Policy

We process and ship out 98%+ of our shipments next business day. 

Live plants will ship using an appropriate service and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or weather delays. To avoid delays in the shipping network we recommend ordering live plants on Saturdays and Sundays for a Monday ship out.

Dry goods such as fish food, medication, filtration products, etc. can be ordered any day and will ship the next business day with an appropriate service. Typical shipping times are 1 to 7 business day transit time, depending on delivery location. 

Faster shipping options available at checkout for an additional charge.

Alaska and Hawaii have a $17.99 surcharge. We do not ship to Puerto Rico currently.
