My gold fish love this food

Watched many of Cory’s videos on gold fish. This was the food he fed his gold fish. This is my second purchase of this food. I own two happy fancy gold fish.

Really good!

This food is adored by my little goobers. Their colors really seemed to improve after switching their diet. They've put on some nice fat, but in a healthy kind of way. My fantail even started getting some deep black markings on his tail, which I've heard is hard to pull off! Great food.

Awaiting the day!

Great packaging, arrived on time. I really like the size of the mini pellets and they sink quickly! I have yet to use them. I’m using them to feed an empty tank till she’s ready! Can’t wait!

Love this goldfish food

My goldfish, abandoned at an elementary school when they were about 3 inches long are beautiful now -- 7" long, beautiful bright orange scales with a beautiful sheen, and just about too big for our 55 gallon tank. This is a wonderful goldfish food!

Love it!

Hikari has mover let me down. This is the first time I have tried this goldfish food. When I first opened the bag the smell of veggies and seafood were good. Meaning it didn’t make me pull my nose away. The fish eat it with a vigor that only goldfish can. Absolutely no complaints.

Great food!

My shubunkins are gobbling this up with gusto. I'm grateful Aquarium Co-op sells this food since my local fish store doesn't have it.

Saki-Hikari Fancy Goldfish food

My Goldfish love it! Though with them I have not found anything they do not like. The food sinking is good as only one fish eats from the top of water and if it was a floating food Torpedo would get most of the food and Elvis and Kevin would get very little.

Saki-Hikari Fancy Goldfish food

The Saki-Hikari Fancy Goldfish is a favorite of my Oranda goldfish. The pellets are more rectangular than round, sink quickly and provide clean food that my goldfish love. I feed this food everyday along with some other food(bloodworms, peas, algae food etc.)

Saki-Hikari Fancy Goldfish food

I was losing goldfish to swim bladder. All my water levels were perfect. When I found out what the cause was, I immediately changed to Saki-Hikari sinking pellets and have had no issues. Plus my fish love this food.

A PS to my previous review.

After accepting that our two larger fish aren't so interested I decided to try this food out with our albino Cory breeding tank and I have to say, I've never seen them so excited about food before.
They will come out from their cover and actually eat from my hands.
Our largest pair have begun exhibiting the beginnings of their mating behaviors.
The smaller of the school are bulking up fast and showing enhanced activity and color. They of course have a balanced diet but these pellets NEVER sit on the bottom for longer than 30 seconds.
Even our rubberlip pleco is very much excited to have a few pellets.
Again I'm blown away by the difference in behaviors and health with just 2 weeks of this feed.

Super Star Food

My fancy goldfishes love this stuff. Always go crazy for them. Its a powerfood and they eat alot of it. Probably one of their favorite food. My orandas, bubble eye, crown pearlscale, shubunkin, etc loves this stuff. My go to food for them.

Everything loves these

These are great for goldfish, because they’re small- we drop them in front of the powerhead outflow, and they get blown into hiding spots, and the goldfish can entertain themselves all day long, seeking them out. While not our only food, I think it contributes to a glow in the goldfish colors. Occasionally, I feed this to our shrimp tank, and community tanks, and it appears to be considered a treat by all denizens. Except reedfish. They can’t find it.

Not quite what I am looking for, but a great option for goldfish only tanks.

Preface; I keep a black moor Goldie, with a golden dojo loach. Have a bad habit of rescuing the least healthy fish at the local pet store.

That being said, our black moor, and dojo, were raised together from two inch sickly teeny things. We have fed them, goldfish flake, freeze dried blood worms, and bug-bites slow sinking pellets. They are both comfortable enough to eat from my hand.
Norman the black moor is now six and a half inches.
Jojo the dojo is a solid nine and a half inches.
Both are just under a year old.
Tried this pellet mix to ween them off of flake and bug bites.
Our black moor has increased activity and digestion for sure. Though our dojo has ZERO interest in these pellets.
Which is strange because he will eat literally anything.
Unfortunately I believe for my fish and set up this is not the solution I am seeking as these pellets sink so fast, and our black moor has decided he is too fancy to eat from the bottom. Lmao
Great option if it was just our black moor. Truly, and quickly made a difference in his activity level and general health.
Side note; make sure NOT to overfeed as these pellets disintegrate into a fine coating of fluff on the substrate.
We don't have enough snails and bottom feeders to make up the difference.
So yes, great food.
But not quite what I was searching for.
Five stars for the quick and thorough boost to the health and happiness of my black moor.

Saki-Hikari Fancy Goldfish Pellets

I usually feed them Rapashy but I decided to change it up. I have Fancy Goldfish and Commits, they all love the Hikari pellets.

Great stuff

My goldfish go crazy over this. It sinks slowly, so they can eat it before it hits the bottom. My Orandas have very long tails and they are awkward eating, so it’s helpful to have a product that doesn’t drop fast.

Color and Water Quality Improved

My Oranda, angelfish, plecos, shrimps and snails love this food! One of Killifish constantly reproduces fry and the babies grows beautifully fast with crushed Saki-Hikari. Red colors enhanced in my Oranda and the scales are starting to be more pronounce red/orange colors. And the white scales has a more silver/white color now. Other color enhancing food I previously used didn’t do this for me in my experiences. I am loving this food as much as my fish/snails do. On top of it, water quality is improved❣️
