- Easy to Grow
- Coffee-Colored New leaves
- Low Light
Anubias Coffeefolia is a variant of Anubias barteri that is known for its wavy, oblong-shaped leaves which initially appear as a brownish-bronze (coffee) color and eventually turn a deep green. Anubias Coffeefolia's unique leaves give the plant its name and make it an eye-catching accent for your aquarium.
Anubias Coffeefolia thrives under low light and is fairly slow-growing. Its rhizome will grow across your tank as it sends stems and leaves up towards your source of light.
- Scientific Name: Anubias Coffeefolia
- Native To: Africa
- Skill Level: Easy
-
Co2 Requirement: none
- Preferred Fertilizer: Liquid - Easy Green Fertilizer
- Placement: We recommend attaching this Anubias to rocks, wood or decor rather than burying it in substrate. We find it easiest to attach using thread or super glue gel.
- If planted too deeply into substrate, the rhizome may rot causing the plant to die.
Anubias Coffeefolia does well in Goldfish, African cichlid, and community tanks as it has thick, tough leaves.
