- Hardy Leaves
- Easy to Grow
- Low Light
Java Fern is hands down one of the most popular plants in the aquarium hobby. It is a slow grower and will thrive even in low light aquariums. A great addition to an aquascape, usually placed in the middle or background. Its thick, long leaves provide excellent cover for fish and fry.
Java fern will grow across your aquarium via its rhizome while sending leaves vertically upwards toward the light source. It will produce baby plants on the undersides of its leaves which can be removed and replanted if desired.
Java fern came in QUICK and HEALTHY! Really impressed with this transaction. Just a few weeks later and my plant is already producing new plantlets! Great place!
Plant looked way good when it arrived, excited to get it growing! 5/7, perfect score, would order again. Highly recommend!
Nice plant for beginners with low light requirements. Delivered quickly and in perfect condition.
Wow i ordered a bunch of plants. They showed up way fast and were packaged awesome. They are all healthy beautiful and not one broken stem. I gasp when i unpacked the java fern it is huge and gorgeous. Thank you for them and the fast shipping. I wont buy my plants anywhere else.
This was my first plant order from Aquarium Co-Op and I was really impressed with the plants I received, but most of all with the Java Fern. This plant was big (almost 6"), compared to the ones I often find for sale at my LFS. It split into two healthy clumps (the picture is of just one of the clumps) which I glued onto pieces of dragon stone with super glue I got from Aquarium Co-Op! It's only been 2 days, but they look good so far! We'll see how they like the Co-Op lights when they arrive. Every order I've received from the Co-Op has been shipped quickly. I am so glad a store like the Co-Op exists, and wish that it had existed when I first kept fish over a decade ago!
