  • Carpeting Plant
  • Small Leaves
  • Great for Shrimp

Micranthemum 'Monte Carlo' is a carpeting plant which is typically used by aquarists to achieve lush foreground cover. It is a low-growing plant with bright green, rounded leaves. It will creep laterally along the substrate as it grows along and can also be used overhanging on decor or rocks.

Monte Carlo does not require much beyond medium to higher lighting and fertilizer to thrive. Once it takes off, it will fill in nicely to form a soft carpet for shrimp and bottom dwellers to enjoy.

Beautiful plant

Monte Carlo is not a beginner plant but that that didn't sway me from buying it anyway. The plant I got was a beautiful green and in great health. Planting was simple and straightforward. It's a testament to the quality of the plant that it's lasted in my tank without CO2 or proper nutrients close enough to its roots. After I tried my hardest to kill it, it even rewarded my feeble root tabs with new growth. Aquarium co-op has done absolutely everything they can to set us up for success and it definitely shows!

Best I got!

I ordered some monte carlo from others I was not happy with, small, rotted...etc.

These from co op were all amazing, tons and tons of roots and a very dense portion. It was obvious they let these grow out a bit and take good care of them before you get them.

Super happy and will be back for plants, fantastic quality and packaging!
