  • Looks like Flames
  • Easy to care for
  • 100% clean with no algae, duckweed, or snails
  • Not available to be shipped to Hawaii and Alaska.

Asian Flame moss got its name from its form of growth. Tight, vertical and softly undulating shoots give the impression of a deep green campfire, 5-15 cm high. The special shape makes Flame moss very suitable for horizontal surfaces and it only spreads slowly horizontally.
Attach the moss to small stones or in small bundles on tree roots to obtain a lovely effect.

100% Free of Pests

Tissue culture plants are "lab-grown" at the farms by taking a tissue sample from an existing plant and growing it in a sterile nutrient medium. While tissue culture plants tend to be smaller and more expensive than potted plants, they are 100% free of snails, algae, and duckweed.

Cups Protect Plants in Shipping

Tissue culture plants have been optimized for long term storage. From the day that they are cultured, these plants  are designed to stay in cups for months. This makes them especially forgiving during transit when they are in a box on their way to your home.

4

Perfect for the Easy Planter

This natural, rock-like decoration is perfect for the lazy fishkeeper. Just drop the entire anubias with its pot into the center hole of the Easy Planter, and place it in your aquarium. Works great with bare bottom tanks or fish that like to dig.

I ended up loving this plant. It’s my favorite.

So I got a rather large order for my new 29 gallon tank that I’m in the process of cycling. I’m a newbie and have no idea what I’m doing but I’m trying hard to do things right. When I saw this moss I didn’t know what in the world to do with it. I used ai and glued it on rocks and driftwood. For the first week it looked terrible but now it’s deep green, very healthy and I just love it. I highly recommend this. I’m going to order more because it’s easy and some of the plants I got melted and are not coming back so I’m going with a sure thing, plus I now that I know what I’m doing I’m going to make some special with it for my shrimp!

Picking seems to be careless these days. I got 4 tissue culture plants that were all super crappy. You could have put 1 or 2 good ones in my order instead of all crappy ones all in one order. Not cool. Tissue culture plants have been getting worse and worse on each order. Always upside down small tiny grown sideways not able to plant either severely damaged moldy or completely rotten. Boo randy needs to do better on quality control on the tissue culture plants. They should not all be crappy ones in one order.

Flaming Moss

I’ve bought this twice now. It has done extremely well in both my tanks. I’ve gathered the loose and trimmed some off for my boyfriend’s tank as well. His shrimp love to move it around to help protect their fry.

Gary gets hair 🐌

One of the best things about this hobby is the live plants. ACO gives you all the tools - super glue, easy green, easy iron and easy potassium and an ever expanding selection of plants (so many plants!) to create the perfect planted tank. The end result - hair for Gary the snail. The flame moss came in perfect condition. The ferts are a game changer and the best bang for your buck on the market. The super glue is economical and well packaged. All you need is your imagination! 😎

Flame moss

This is the first time I see this moss and it's awesome. I glued it onto a coop coconut hut. I'm looking forward to see how it looks when it fills in

Small but mighty

I knew that the tissue culture would be on the small side, but I have a nano tank. I split this into two portions, one to grow out emersed in a small cultivation box, and the rest for the tank. I attached it to various points using superglue gel. It worked well, and after only a week, I can see some significant growth. I should have flame moss for ever now, and with the tissue culture, there is no risk of snails.

Best experience I have had with moss

Typically, I have had no luck with moss. This moss is thriving, spreading and remaining green (especially with weekly feeding of Simply Green). I love snails but it is nice to get a plant with no snails on it. Recommend!

Nice moss!

Nice looking upward growth moss. Looked like a dense little ball in the cup, but once I started to add tank water to the cup to start rinsing, it turned into one of those foam dinosaur pills and filled the cup! Plenty to work with.

Rip off

I ordered 2 containers. There was barely anything in them. I planed on putting them on 2 small pieces of wood. It was not enough to cover one piece. Don’t let the picture fool you.
