Tiger lotus is just a beautiful plant with reddish-green to deep red leaves that have darker spots that are often purplish in color. When given medium light and plenty of nutrients, this plant will thrive. As it grows, tiger lotus plants will display its large leaves below the surface of the water while simultaneously sending lily pads up to reach the surface. It does well as a midground to background plant, but because it is so impactful, it can make a great standalone plant as well.

Beatiful! Grew in so well. I have a hygger light and aquarium co-op root tabs.
I was anticipating receiving this plant as a simple bulb and was prepared to wait until it started growing but instead I received a very healthy plant with big bright red leaves and as soon as I put it in the aquarium it started growing new leaves within a couple days. It has now been a week and I have many new leaves and the plant looks absolutely incredible! Thank you very much!!!
Bought this late March 2026 and it’s thriving in my 21.4 gallon Tideline cube. Started off with about 5 leaves and 6.5 weeks later, has 18 leaves (and that’s after 3 old leaves were picked off). No CO2, just LEDs + Fluval Stratum + a root tab when I set up the tank in March. Leaves are huge and coming in with lovely green AND red coloration, despite zero dosing of ferts. My water sprite from the same order has also taken off. Marsila hirsuta, crypto parva, and Madagascar Lace growing slowly but steadily.
Very pretty little plant. Happy in my Betta tank!

We process and ship out 98%+ of our shipments next business day.
Live plants will ship using an appropriate service and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or weather delays. To avoid delays in the shipping network we recommend ordering live plants on Saturdays and Sundays for a Monday ship out.
Dry goods such as fish food, medication, filtration products, etc. can be ordered any day and will ship the next business day with an appropriate service. Typical shipping times are 1 to 7 business day transit time, depending on delivery location.

Alaska and Hawaii have a $17.99 surcharge. We do not ship to Puerto Rico currently.
