Legendary store. Went in recently to check out the expansion and buy some fish. Ended up with three healthy honey gouramis and some plants.

They were unsexed when I bought them but it looks like two females and a male, which is bonus! Lovely addition to the new tank and glad they made the journey home as I live in Joyce. Clearly very healthy fish to make the trip. They've been in the new tank since last week and are doing great.

Really excellent store. Fish are all healthy, tanks are clean and well maintained. Prices are good for their own brands which have worked well so far. The store really excels with its employees. I was greeted when I walked in but wasn’t swarmed. When I did need help, Jeff, dropped what he was doing to help me with recommendations and spent time so I could make the right choice.

Famously great fish store, the world is out, they have expanded and have pond fish now, a lot more physical aquarium decor, and of course, excellent fish selections with great advice. Employees obviously are big fans of fish and are always impressively knowledgeable. Well run, clean and all around excellent business, if you've even bothered to look at reviews just go.

So many fish!

The best aquarium store I have ever seen. Also flawless customer service. I would recommend the store to anybody. I live 5 1/2 hours away and there isn’t a better one closer.

Nice selection of healthy fish.

So knowledgeable and helpful, by far my favorite fish store. Also had amazing luck health-wise with all plants and animals I’ve purchased here.

This is a great local freshwater aquarium store that is oriented towards the aquarist community and planted tanks. They have their own product line of quality aquarium products, and a wide range of quality freshwater fish, shrimp, and snails. Their staff are fellow hobbyists and enthusiasts. The shop owner also runs a YouTube channel by the same name with over a million subscribers which has more tutorials than you could shake a stick with Java moss at. The new expansion which just opened yesterday is a fantastic addition to give the shop even more variety.

Go visit Elmer, the curious, exotic turtle! This is a fascinating store even if you don’t have aquariums. I’m taking the grandkids to see the tiny frogs and beautiful fish. And I’m bringing a book to read in the winter as it is very warm. :)

The staff (Jeff and Joey) were very knowledgeable. My friend comes from West Seattle because it’s her fav place to buy fish/ supplies.

Kind helpful responsive

I can’t say enough about how incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive the staff at this fish store were especially Sarina. I unexpectedly found myself caring for a fish I knew nothing about, lost and unsure of what to do. I wanted to do right by it, but I was overwhelmed and afraid of making things worse.
From the moment I reached out, she responded quickly, with such clarity and compassion, walking me through every step I needed to take, & provided learning material. She didn’t make me feel silly for not knowing things, instead, she gave me practical, supportive advice. Her guidance made what felt like a stressful situation feel manageable, and I’m so grateful for her time, knowledge, and patience.
If you’re looking for a place that genuinely cares about both fish and the people trying to care for them, this is it.

This food really is magic

I have been researching suitable food for my Dwarf Emerald Rasboras, as they appear to be mid-water feeders rather than surface feeders. It was important for me to find a food that would stay suspended in the water for a period before settling to accommodate the Red Cherry Shrimp in the same tank. I have found that the Magic Small Fish feed is an excellent choice; it descends gradually, allowing some particles to settle on the bottom while others intermittently float back up, providing ample feeding opportunities for the fish. I have observed increased feeding activity with this dry food compared to previous options, and even the Corydoras seem to enjoy it. Additionally, I purchased Hikari Sinking Wafers and Repashy Community Plus, which I am eager to test in the near future.
