Anubias Nana is a smaller variant of Anubias barteri, but not as small as Anubias Nana Petite. It reaches a height of about 3–5 inches, and its leaves are deep green in color. Anubias Nana is rather slow growing and will thrive in low light or shaded areas of your aquarium. Its rhizome will slowly creep along horizontally while its leaves grow vertically upwards.

Attach to Rock or Wood

For a natural look, anubias plants can be attached to rock or driftwood with super glue gel. Simply draw a small line of glue on the hardscape, and firmly press the roots of the anubias in place for 30 seconds or until set.

Plant Transition

Anubias leaves are quite hardy and don't tend to melt when placed underwater. However, this slow-growing plant can take several weeks to get used to a new environment and start sprouting new leaves. Dose Easy Green fertilizer to speed up the transition.

This natural, rock-like decoration is perfect for the lazy fishkeeper. Just drop the entire anubias with its pot into the center hole of the Easy Planter, and place it in your aquarium. Works great with bare bottom tanks or fish that like to dig.

This helps keep plants at stable temperatures, both in hot and cold weather. Other vendors typically charge you at checkout for a heat pack. We include them when needed free of charge because it's our job to deliver our plants to your door healthy.

Best low maint plant

I have found that Anubias plants of all types are my fav go to for my tanks because I have limited time and yet want to enjoy my scapes They are slow growing so I don’t have to trim. They stay green and provide cover and my betta loves to hang out in them.

Unkilable Nano Tank Plant

I've bought a handful of these for my small tanks and they've all thrived under my benign neglect. Left a few floating in their containers for months without much thought given to light or ferts. They didn't mind. Foolishly ordered a couple more on a holiday weekend and the shipment was delayed by several days. They still looked great!

Healthy Little Plant

Plant was looking healthy when it arrived. I put the roots into a hole in a large piece of driftwood and placed it in my tank. 2 weeks later, the plant looks healthy and appears to be growing nicely.

Shipping Policy

We process and ship out 98%+ of our shipments next business day. 

Live plants will ship using an appropriate service and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or weather delays. To avoid delays in the shipping network we recommend ordering live plants on Saturdays and Sundays for a Monday ship out.

Dry goods such as fish food, medication, filtration products, etc. can be ordered any day and will ship the next business day with an appropriate service. Typical shipping times are 1 to 7 business day transit time, depending on delivery location. 

Faster shipping options available at checkout for an additional charge.

Alaska and Hawaii have a $17.99 surcharge. We do not ship to Puerto Rico currently.
