Easy Brine Shrimp Salt contains sodium chloride (salt) as well as natural trace elements found in marine water, which help buffer the water and create the ideal environment for baby brine shrimp to thrive. This allows for consistent, healthy and robust hatches and an excellent source of live food for fish. Pair Easy Brine Shrimp Salt with Aquarium Co-Op's premium brine shrimp eggs and the Ziss brine shrimp hatchery for the best results.
One bag contains 14.5 lbs of Easy Brine Shrimp Salt.
Mixing Instructions for Brine Shrimp Hatching
Combine 1 tablespoon (18 grams) of Easy Brine Shrimp Salt per 1 liter (34 fluid ounces) of fresh water for best results.
For Best Hatching Results
1. Use Aquarium Co-Op premium brine shrimp eggs.
2. The ideal temperature for brine shrimp is 74–82°F.
3. Allow the hatch to run for 24 – 48 hours before harvesting.
4. Use a light to attract brine shrimp to one area for harvesting.
