  • Small, bright green leaves
  • Tall stem plant
  • Good for beginners
  • Not available to be shipped to Hawaii and Alaska.

Moneywort is an easy stem plant to grow that features small, bright green leaves and will grow quite tall if left untrimmed. It is quite hardy and does best under medium to higher lighting. Moneywort makes an excellent background plant and will give fish and fry a place to hide and feel secure. Another fun way to plant moneywort is to let it float so that the stems will grow up out of the water.

The leaves were more than half melted in arrival. Not sure if the rest will make it.

Plants in great shape!

Moneywort is a beautiful plant easy once it gets going. Easy to plants trimmings once you snip off the tops. All plants I have bought from aquarium co-op do very well In my tanks. They are always healthy, some do melt but leave them they will come back and thrive! Aquarium co-op are now my only go too for plants and just about all my fish needs.

One plant dead on arrival

All the plants but one turned out great. One looked soggy and limp on arrival and quickly died.

great plant grows well with no co2

Great for taller tanks. Will even grow straight out of the top of the tank. Beginner friendly.

3rd times a charm!

Hopefully it stays alive. I am gonna feed it and put it in a well seasoned tank with my croaking gouramis. I had to store it in my big tank til I finish maintenance on it’s permanent home. Well Humpfrey my parrot cichlid hates this plant! I never seen him so upset at a plant before 😂 He went all psycho on it! I had to wedge the pot into a piece of drift wood out of his sight! Nice and green healthy plant. Hoping I can keep it alive bc aside from my fish going all assassin on it, I never can keep this plant alive in the past. Not sure it likes my water. I am gonna try to give it extra attention and hopefully it thrives. All the plants I get from Coop last a long time and do well. One last shot with Moneywort.

Moneywort

I am new to purchasing plants online. I had a couple broken stems but for the most part that plant looked great and it’s doing well in my tank.

No longer with us

Bought three plants the first one lost all its leaves by the third day (like they turned to mush) and had a weird smell. The other two followed over the next few weeks.

Moneywort plant

I received this plant and it looked healthy. This was my first time ordering plants to be delivered to my home. I ordered 6 plants and this is the only one that seems to be melting a bit in the tank. It’s been in for about a week. Keeping an eye on it. I placed root tabs and treating with liquid all in one fertilizer as well.

Almost perfect...

I received three of these beautiful plants. Two of the moneywort are absolutely beautiful. After two weeks or so, they are flourishing, and growing right out of the tank. The third, received a few days after the first two were put in the same tank and immediately you could see a difference. The leaves started melting away and after a few more days I pulled it out of the tank with the others. All are receiving a half squirt of easy green and have a root tab in the pot. The plants are beautiful. The only thing I can think of is that the one plant that I received later might have been handled differently on the way? Not sure, but I love the two beautiful plants I currently have!!! Both tanks are being quarantined per co-op for six to eight weeks while I scope out for snails!

Hoping the leaves grow back.

Looked good for the first few days. Then all branches and leaves 75% of the way up the plant fell off. It’s still tall and green with 8 leaves.

Happy fish

I absolutely love this plant and so do my betta because he hides in it. Growing nice, getting tall plus I use aquarium Co-op plant fertilizer which makes them grow so I highly recommend aquarium Co-op is the place to go

Strong and healthy plant

Plants arrived super fast. The moneywort was very healthy and almost rigid. Seems to be growing in my 29 gallon tank. Several stems and good green color. Trims easy for replanting. I would recommend this for your tank.

Moneywort well spent

I live in Las Vegas and was unsure how well the plants I ordered would hold up, but I'm happy to report that the packaging was excellent. Everything was green and the plants were so healthy. I haven't had much luck with local providers, Aquarium Co-Op delivered a quality product. Attached photos are from day 1 and day 18

New to planted tanks

This is my second attempt at a planted tank. The first tank was shared with a soft shelled turtle. It dug up everything. The turtle is doing great but all the plants died of course. I started my second tank with a 10 gallon aquarium. I bought Moneywort and a few other beginner plants and used organic garden soil and topped it with gravel. The Money wort melted back a little so I added Easy Green fertilizer and seem to be growing very well. The next time I set up a tank it will be with aquarium soil because I had to do a lot of water changes in the begin to get the parameters right. I’ve had plants that I ordered from Aquarium Co-op in the tank for almost a month now and I am very pleased with how well they are doing. I am a very happy customer.

Came perfectly delivered, thriving in multiple tanks. Planted a few of the stems and floated the others

Melted back

They looked good then a couple days later they melted back a lot witch was to be expected. Still haven’t come back. Will update if they grow back or die.

Update: After Aquarium Co Op read this review they sent me a new plant! Five stars for the costumer service.

Awesome plants and Amazing plant fertilizer.

I have a 10 gallon fish tank. The moneywort and the easy green fertilizer was awesome. Everything was definitely packaged with care and the shipping was fast! My plants that I already placed in the tank went from turning brown to honestly taking after what the bottle says EASY GREEN. Thank you, I will definitely be a returning customer!
