Simply put, these are the best brine shrimp hatcheries on the market. You may be thinking, "How much better could these be over a 2-liter bottle?" When you hatch live baby brine shrimp every day, the construction and thoughtfulness of these designs won't go unnoticed. They are made of super strong plastic to withstand an impact, and have the option to run a heater and thermometer in them. We highly recommend running these brine shrimp hatcheries using our air pump, airline tubing, check valveAquarium Co-Op Brine Shrimp Eggs, and Easy Brine Shrimp Salt

Small (ZH-700ml)

I got the small one to start with since I'm new to the hobby and dont have as much fish yet. The instructions are great and super easy to follow as a first time trying to hatch brine shrimp. It was a breeze! This hatcher makes it easy! Easy harvest and cleaning.

To start, I’m actually really impressed with the quality of this hatchery— most of the materials feel thick and durable and I feel confident that they could handle an accidental drop or any everyday wear and tear. Inside the box, you’ll find close to everything you’ll need to get started, just shy of an air pump and some airline tubing. The included thermometer and rigid airline tubing are a pleasant bonus that really help to round out the whole package. The included release valve works great, though it is a little cramped to navigate around. Which brings me to the one area of criticism that I do have… the hatchery legs and extensions. They just feel cheap and flimsy— souring what could feel like a very premium experience. Thankfully I do have a 3D printer and was able to print a much sturdier and better designed alternative. Hopefully this is something that can be improved on or upgraded in the future! Ultimately I’m very happy with my purchase and highly recommend that you buy one if you’re on the fence about it— it’s simple to use, cleaner looking than many of the alternatives, and makes hatching simple and straightforward!

I wanted to thank Aquarium Co-op ,Cory for the video with master breeder Dean. I kept hearing about feeding frye Brine Shrimp, but I thought it was so complicated that I didn'teven want to try it. After watching the video, I ordered the Ziss Brine Shrimp hatchery. This wound up being so easy, that after 48 hours, I had a perfect batch of baby Brine Shrimp. I only used about half of the salt and Brine Shrimp eggs that he used since I only have a few tanks that I need to feed, but that will last me 3 days, just enough time to have another batch ready. I wish everything in the hobby was this easy 😪. I'm on my third breeding of our electric blue acara and they loved it when we feed them the Brine Shrimp. Keep up the great videos, and also, thanks for being so responsive on the forums. Zenzo and others were so helpful with answer on the forums. Thanks again

This is a great tool. I am on my 3rd batch now in just under 2 weeks. I was attempting to raise Apisto fry on powder and frozen food. The live food has been a game changer. Every day, you can see the babies getting bigger, and after feeding you can see their pink stuffed little bellies.

Good product but needs improvements

This product is screaming for a redesign by Cory and the crew. It definitely works as advertised and I have no substantial issues with it. However, the lid doesn't stay shut and I'd like a way to disconnect the air hose everything for washing. At the end of the day it does what it's supposed to do. Also stickers make it hatch more 😉

Works great

Have tried DIY options such as 2 liter bottles and mason jars. Not that those methods didn't work, but this just works better. Mount it up somewhere, avoid the stand and modify the airline slightly and it works every time.

Love this hatchery

Like the style of this hatchery. It is easy to use and as I non stop, it has been a tough unit, it’s parts are tough, I did break the thermometer the first day!
I decided to hang it on the wall since my airflow is over head.

Ziss Brine Shrimp Hatchery

Took the plunge of starting live baby brine shrimp after trying to hold off for a while. With my busy work schedule I thought it'd be too hard to keep hatching baby brine throughout the week but I've found it to be very easy with the Aquarium Co-op line or products. This hatchery is easy to set up, easy to clean, and works well to hatch baby brine. The spout at the bottom is also a really nice way to collect baby brine.

Easy to keep clean and use - a small piece of hose works great for the end of the nozzle

If you're a glutton for punishment and have dwarf seahorses or something else totally high maintenance that requires brine shrimp hatched regularly, this is the hatchery for you.
I was previously using the soda bottle set up with 3d printed parts made by a competitor, but the way the air hose connected made it difficult to clean, and it just looks bad.
This hatchery could be better if it included a piece of hosing to extend the nozzle... but fortunately for me, I had a few inches to spare from the 1/2 inch diameter (or so) hose on my nano tank vacuum.
I'm somehow managing to keep a small group of dwarf seahorses and pipefish alive, although not breeding, so I go through copious amounts of BBS daily for 15 sedentary fish that I can barely see. I am glad that I saw the positive reviews and ordered two so that I could replace both my old hatcheries!
Looks good enough that you can shamelessly hatch brine shrimp in your dining room. It would be nice if the heater hole had a cover, but so far I haven't noticed water nor too much stench escaping. Looks classier than soda bottles.
Well worth the price.

Super easy to set up & use.

Very easy to clean. They have an options, you can put heater and Thermometer which are came with it. Open wide lid. You can able to add more brine shrimp eggs. I love it. Thank you so much!

Easy to use

I really like the brine shrimp hatchery. After hatching out shrimps in 2 liter bottles, I’ve come to love how easy it is to use and clean. The stand is worthless, but my husband attached a PVC T connection to the wall and it hangs there very nicely by the handle.
