This stuff has good quality ingredients, but doesn’t sink if you have current in your tank. I have a 75 gallon with an overflow box and medium current running through the tank. I tried to saturate this food in tank water and feed it, but it still gets kicked up and doesn’t stay on the bottom. Smells really bad if it makes it to the overflow also. Will continue looking for a good pleco sinking food.
All my catfish love em. Some of my other fish eat them also. Great product.
I have a 55 gallon community tank with pleco's, cory cats, loaches, guppies, and black skirt tetras and everyone goes for this stuff! Everyone comes out of hiding when I feed this. I only have one big box store near me that carries it and they're always out of stock when I need it (and way more expensive too) so now I just buy it from the lovely folks at aquarium co-op. Aquarium co-op may not be "local" to me but I feel better giving Cory all my money than PetSchmo.
all my bottom dwellers love it
I know my Raphael cat eats. I've had him for years, and if he *didn't* eat, that'd be a problem. But I've never seen him eat until I got these. He actually will leave his cave for a brief minute to grab these. My BN pleco loves them, too. It's great fun watching him pounce on them to keep them away from the mollies. The mollies will swim around with them in their mouths like cigars. I love it. Great food, great quality.
They do stink but my fish love them!
My corydoras love bug bites!
Really Good food my fish like it .
I drop a line of these down the length of the tank to prevent squabbles.
I use the tropical fish one too. Both excellent.
