This plant is similar in care requirements to the Amazon sword, but instead of regular green leaves, the 'Marble Queen' features a beautiful, mottled white and green pattern on the leaves. It really adds variety to any tank and stands out against other aquarium plants. The Radican marble queen sword is easy to care for and can get quite large if given medium light and plenty of nutrients in the ground.

How to Plant Radican Marble Queen Sword
1. Remove the potted plant from plastic basket, and split the rock wool in half.
2. Carefully remove the plant roots from the rock wool, and make sure to remove all the small, yellow fertilizer balls. Wash off any remaining debris.
3. Use planting tweezers or your fingers to push the roots of the sword deeply into the substrate until they are completely buried. Pull out the plant slightly so that the crown (i.e., the base of the plant where all the leaves come out) is not covered with substrate.
4. If the plant keeps popping out of the ground, try inserting the plant at an angle or wrap a plant weight at the bottom of the plant to keep it anchored.
5. Make sure to add lots of root tabs if you’re using inert substrate or if your nutrient-rich substrate is depleted.
How to Care for Marble Queen Radican Sword Plant
— Radican marble queen sword care is very easy, so start by using low to medium lighting between 10-35 PAR.
— Why is my new sword plant melting? Sword plants are sometimes known to experience melting when they suddenly move to a new environment. To help the plant recover faster and grow new leaves that are accustomed to your water parameters, leave the roots planted in the ground and make sure to provide nutrient-rich planted tank substrate or Easy Root Tabs.
— Why is my sword plant turning brown after it was growing so well? Sword plants absorb lots of nutrients from the ground, so it may be a nutrient deficiency. If the larger, outer leaves are yellowing and dying after a couple of months, please add more root tabs.
— How to trim radican marble queen sword: If the sword plant has dying or melting leaves, cut them off at the base of the leaf.
— Note: Bristlenose plecos and other plecos have been known to eat sword plants, so watch out for this if you see holes in the leaves.
How to Propagate Marble Queen Sword
Sword plants reproduce by sending out a horizontal runner with a little plantlet at the end. The plantlet will sprout its own leaves and roots that grow into the ground. You can cut off the plantlet and re-plant it in a different location.

Had a $200 order for a new tank. I ordered a marble queen sword and it arrived in less than great condition. I contacted them they said (buy) use their root tabs and fertilizer. If it doesn't grow they'll refund me. I had to send multiple emails to get one. If you knew that was the condition/size of plant you were getting would you have paid the same price? I've ordered this exact plant before from them and it was beautiful. Customer support was also lacking.

First time keeper of this beauty, but I knew it’d be a good fit for me! Due to my order being slightly delayed, this plant did have to have the leaves trimmed back once I got it into it’s tank (after the photo was taken obviously lol) it already has some noticeable growth on it though!

This plant quickly became one of my favorite plants. , arrived healthy and ready to do its thing , melted 2 leaves on to begin sending roots doiwn to the soil, in les then 2 weeks it’s now growing new leaves. Immediately I purchase two more for my other tanks.

When I initially ordered this plant it did not fair well in shipping, and I had an issue with how the plant was packaged, it wound up losing all its leaves. But customer service reached out to me to fix this issue, and I was able to get a new sword, and it faired much better in shipping, and was packaged carefully, it looks really healthy! I purchased this with a large order of swords crypts temples and bacopa. All came in well and have adjusted nicely. I’ve never had this sword variant before but I had to have it and the ozelot when I saw them. Got 2-3 plants in each of those pots. Can’t wait to see how they develop.

Purchased two of these and they were beautiful when they arrived. I have two small tanks and put one in each one. They both are losing their leaves and turning brown (Melting). One has a new leaf at the base so I’m hoping it comes back. They’re very pretty so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they will revive.
