  • Arrowhead-Shaped Leaf
  • Low Light
  • Easy to Grow

Anubias hastifolia is unique type of Anubias due to its rather dramatic appearance. It has exceptionally tall stalks and large, arrowhead-shaped leaves that really stand out amongst smaller plants in an aquarium. The leaves can grow quite large, in fact, and be the perfect shelter for small fish, fry and invertebrates.

Anubias hastifolia will grow horizontally via its rhizome across the aquarium while sending its big leaves upwards toward the light.

first less than stellar plant from ACO

Everything else I’ve received has been great, so I’m not bent out of shape. That said, 4 small leaves on the tiniest rhizome. Rhizome so small there’s no way to glue it down unless I clipped all the roots off. One of the leaves has clearly been clipped in half by scissors (?) and one other looks unhealthy. Was expecting larger/healthier.

Anubias Hastifolia!

Hey now! This is a nice plant! Came in at a decent size (about 3" tall with several leaves). I'm excited to see this one flourish and make some nice cover for our shy green tetras.

Super healthy plant

This plant arrived so healthy and beautiful! I'm a total beginner with live plants, and this one has done fabulous in my tank even with "crappy" lighting and my total lack of experience. The only thing I don't kill are weeds, and this is thriving!
