  • Rare rhizome plant that's sustainably farm-raised
  • Dark green, oblong leaves with wavy edges
  • 100% clean with no algae, duckweed, or snails
  • Not available to be shipped to Hawaii and Alaska.

This gorgeous aquarium plant has wavy-edged, oblong leaves that are about 2.5 inches (6 cm) long and 0.5–0.75 inch (1–2 cm) wide. The deep green leaves are speckled with small, white dots and have an iridescent blue sheen, which contrasts beautifully with the dark red rhizomes. As one of the faster growing buce species, the plant can reach 4–8 inches (10–20 cm) in height with good light and nutrition.

I made a Buce 'tree'

I have a lot of anubias that I use aquarium suction cups/zip ties, and created an anubias 'forest' on part.of my back wall - then I discovered this plant, kinda like anubias, where you don't plant it, so I bought a few of these and used it on my new ghost wood piece, and I'm in love! These culture cups have been great and they are holding up super well! I seriously have not been disappointed with ANY plant I've bought here - they are packed well -- uhh SUPER -- and I live in MAINE -- LOL all the way over here!! Haha! But these buce, if your looking for something a little bit different, and I have a low tech tank -- 36 gallons, sponge filters for up to 110 gallons, no special light, just tank hood light on a timer. The buce is so cool and really looks good against my ghost wood ♡

Beautiful!

I've purchased plants from Aquarium Co-op a couple of times now. All of my plants have arrived looking great and are really thriving! I love this Buce. I split the culture into several pieces and they are all growing well! Thanks Cory!!

Love the pops of red

This buce is so pretty! I love the red and green and the cute tiny leaf shape. It was also a decent size clump!

Bucephalandra Kedagang Tissue Culture

1st time having this plant It is a dark green with red under the leaves. my mystery snails don't eat it. It gives your tank that pop of color and you glue it to rock or wood so you can get creative with it. Nice plant.

Love these buce!

These came packaged in the pictured pot. The plants were healthy and seem to be adapting well to my tank. The little red pop is nice and I look forward to seeing how they develop!

First time buying tissue culture plants

For the first time for me buying this tissue culture it came extremely healthy and very abundant inside the cup. They are currently acclimating to my tank nicely. Really recommend for people to try out.

Looks great now

Shipping to east coast was fast, in about 3 days. 2 of the 3 weren't in great condition. After a couple days in the tank they recovered and are doing great.

Super cool!

I love how small this plant is, but how striking the colors are! I split this up into about 6 clumps and attached it to little rocks.

Strong plant

This plant has a nice coloring to it. I glued it to a rock and it is acclimating to the tank. It looks very strong and hardy.
I’ve ordered many items from Co op, so I’m looking forward to what this plant will look like full grown.

Great plant!

Came in looking fine, cleaned off the roots and glued it onto my hard scape! Plant is now enjoying high light and some co2!

Beautiful plant

This is a really beautiful plant. Unfortunately, not having experience with buce and the plant being small, I was nervous about separating it into individual plants without damaging it. I worked it out by just stretching it out into a long-ish mat and tied it to a twig-like piece of driftwood with thread. I think its actually a better look than if I had spread multiple plants out. Can't wait to see how this grows in. Like it better than anubias.

Slow grower , but healthy and full. Root growth over substrate is developing nicely

I am new to planted aquariums. This was not as messy as trying to clean the gel out of the mosses, and it came with about 5 little plants in the container! SCORE!
I anchored them to my driftwood and they are doing great! I used superglue and my mystery snails have managed to loosen them enough they get free so I ended up shoving them in cracks and crevices. They are still doing great!
I love these cultures because it is guaranteed no snails or planera, both of which I found in a plant shipment from another vendor (thank goodness I quarantined them first!)

1 month in and I'm really pleased with this plant

I wanted to wait to see how the plant survived the trip and any "die-back" before reviewing. Now, after a month, I'm really happy with my first tissue culture experience from Aquarium Co-Op. The plant has really adapted well in my aquarium with weekly Easy Green dosing.

Love This Little Buce

I bought two of these for two separate tanks. I weighted them down and used them as forefront plants to give my tanks a little pop of color in the sea of other green plants. These tissue cultures are my new favorite way to buy small plants. They are so healthy and the little cups have way more plants inside than you would think.

I had ordered Kedagang with several other plants. All the other plants looked great, but the Kedagang had me worried. Through the sealed tissue holder it looked so dark that I thought it was rotting - I was so wrong! I opened, examined it and realized that the tissue culture was incredibly healthy and this mist be the color of it under ideal conditions. I separated it into two clumps being careful for each piece to have rhizome and glued them to my driftwood near the bottom. Its been a couple of weeks and both pieces have grown faster than expected. So pleased with Aquarium Co Op and their plants!

Great plants

Every plant I have ordered from Aquarium Coop has arrived in great condition.

I order two of these. The leaves have holes in them and they are lots of brown patches that you get from potassium deficiency. Hopeful they bounce back with fertilizer. Not happy at all.

Unique plant with dark red colors

I love this plant. It is different than anything I can buy in my area. I'm using it to glue to my bonsai tree to make it look alive and give my aquarium a unique look. The red and green look fantastic. And their shipping is top notch. All the plants come in a sac and plastic bag labeled with what the plant it is, and with a zip lock style cooler bag. As it was cold out when mine was shipped it even had a heat pad in the package to keep my plants from freezing.

Great care taken in shipping

My new plant arrived safe and warm. Such good care taken in shipping

Rough Start

Didn’t look great upon arrival - leaf material was quite degraded and flaked off easily. 10 days in the tank, and no sign of recovery.

The rest of the plants I ordered in the same shipment are doing great.
