Undergravel Filter Systems have been around for decades. The simplicity is its strength. We've added a few optimizations to the platform, like using our Easy Flow air lift system. This was accomplished by using our uplift system, creating a new collar to utilize our weighted air stones, which are included with the kit. Undergravel filters do a great job of filtering particles out of the water and housing beneficial bacteria while maintaining a gentle flow for shrimp, fish, and plants. The sliding design allows you to put the uplifts anywhere in the tank, giving you the ability to hide the uplift in a rock formation or behind your favorite piece of driftwood.

Easy Undergravel Filter System - Aquarium Co-Op
1

Customizable Footprint

Our under gravel filters are designed to fit many different aquarium sizes, with simple snap-together dovetail panels that can be configured in a multitude of different ways. The sliding adapter piece means the uplift can be placed almost anywhere, and is easily adjusted to work around hardscape and decor.

2

Great Flow, Great Filtration

Our Easy Flow curved uplift tube design creates super efficient water flow and surface agitation, with the option to move the flow in any direction you want simply by rotating the curved top tube in any direction.

3

Old Technology With a Modern Spin

Undergravel filters have been around for a long time, but this classic filtration method has been long overdue for a modern update. The clear and black Easy Flow uplift tubes improve flow efficiency, and can be placed anywhere along the plates on sliding tracks. This means they can be easily moved around to hide behind plants or hardscape, without sacrificing filtration efficiency and flow, or modifying the bottom plate.

4

Excellent Airflow

The included weighted air stones and adapter collars help prevent clogging with a solid plastic construction that resists mineral buildup and provides easy, efficient airflow without sacrificing bubble size, or increasing the noise level.

Let me count all the ways I love Corey’s UGF!

1. It’s modular. I can customize the layout to work around large rocks and other hardscape without worrying about breaking the filter.

2. It’s incredibly easy to install. When I needed extra filtration in my 75-gallon, I simply scooted the substrate out of the way, added the grates, and covered everything back up. Done!
3. It’s economical. I can easily create THREE filters from one box—I just need to order an extra uplift tube.

I love a filtration system that is effective, flexible, easy to work with, AND economical. Corey’s UGF checks every box for me!

I wish i had these filters before i started my tanks. I recently redid a 10 gallon cube that looked like chocolate milk no mater how long i ran a hang on back full of polishing pads. After a few hours the tank was crystal clear. Even today i added a little more substrate and it made a cloud that disappeared in about 30 minutes.

Great Take on Timeless Classic! Excellent Product!

I just set this up a week ago and it's really working great. There are few things that I really think the Aquarium did well with this product. Unlike most under gravel filters, you can pick to place the uplift tube anywhere in the tank, instead of the corner. Also, the black uplift tubes, combined with a black background is great solution if you want to hide your filtration. It's much easier to hide than a sponge filter. I set this up on a new tank build and a cleared the water up really quickly. The water has been crystal clear since I installed it. Great product and looking forward to using it long term.

I’ve successfully converted four tanks, and I’m pleased with the results so far. However, I’ve accumulated a substantial amount of leftover grids since two of the tanks are 10-gallon tanks, and one is a 5.5-gallon tank. The fourth tank is a 29-gallon tank for my endler’s once it’s cycled and seasoned. I’m eagerly waiting for additional risers to become available so that I can utilize the leftover grids on another tank or two.

Very easy to assemble and sturdy. The quality was outstanding. Just setup my tank waiting for it to season so I can add fish

We recently began installing the new Aquarium Co-Op Under Gravel Filter across our store's 500+ aquariums, and the results have been outstanding. The improvement in biological filtration has been immediately noticeable, helping us maintain cleaner, healthier tanks with greater consistency.

What has impressed us most is the increased efficiency. Tank maintenance is faster, debris management is improved, and our staff spends less time on routine upkeep while achieving better overall water quality. Across hundreds of aquariums, those time savings soon add up quickly.

The design is Aquarium Co-Op "easy" , simple, effective, and reliable, proving that sometimes the best filtration solutions are also the most practical. For anyone managing either one or multiple aquariums, whether a fish room, breeding setup, or retail store, this under gravel filter is well worth considering.

Aquarium Co-Op has created a product that delivers both better filtration and meaningful labor savings. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As a returning fish keeper from a 10+ year hiatus, I am very happy with this filter. With the accumulated knowledge of the YouTube aquarium fish keepers I have been able to relearn old things and new things. That’s also how I found Aquarium Co-op. For a while I was battling balancing fish feeding, plant health and micro algae bloom. I made the switch from mostly inert stone gravel, some pourus stones and a sponge filter. To this underground filter and mainly Fluval stratum with the old pourus stones. My TDS readings has been solid, stable and the water clarity is awesome.

Assembly is very easy. Notch tabs for where sides connect to each other and the up pipe glides on the sliding rails.

I was able to create two tanks with one kit. My fish tank and smaller plant/aquascape/backup tank. My fish tank was able to have near 100% coverage while my plant tank has about 70% coverage.

This undergravel filter is fantastic!! For the first time in 3 years my tank is crystal clear, my fish are happy and healthy, my plants are growing well and the algae problem is resolved. I struggled for the last year using that awful substrate, outside box filters, sponge filters and nothing worked right. I had forgotten how undergravel filters were basically the gold standard way back 35 years or so ago. Thanks to Aquarium co-op for reminding me of them! I really like theirs because you can build it to fit any size tank. I highly recommend this filter!

It's well built, easy to put together, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. If you've been around the hobby for a while, it brings back the simplicity of classic undergravel filters. If you're looking for a reliable biological filtration system that's simple, effective, and easy to maintain, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

Was really easy to assemble and custom fit to my tank. When I disassembled tank was surprised how much black debris was trapped in gravel. Tank was maybe 4 months old. Has 1/4 to 1/8 inch gravel. I'm hoping this will help allow that black debris to breakdown more cleanly and not give me pockets of sulfur smelling water when I would gravel vac. Sometimes I would get weird ammonia spikes but not nitrite. Hopefully this will stop that!!!

Best underground, a filter and a Bluetooth tubes I ever used
